JYP Entertainment has redeemed the highest results out of the big three entertainment companies in regards to their second quarter profits!
The entertainment company recently released its sale numbers which revealed an impressive boost from last year. Profit numbers risen to 3.8 billion won which is 370.6% higher than their previous numbers. The sales number also risen to 17.9 billion won which is a 52.7% increase within this year.
From these numbers, JYP Entertainment received the highest profit numbers out of the big three entertainment companies. JYP’s profit ratio was 21.2%, surpassing YG Entertainment‘s 8.7% ratio. JYP has also received attention for beating out SM Entertainment who noted down a 2.4 billion won loss from 769 billion won.
An informant from JYP Entertainment disclosed that 2PM, GOT7, Miss A, and TWICE have all played a role in increasing sales. As a matter of fact, GOT7 and TWICE were seen as the dominant benefactors.
Recent activities such as JYP Nation concerts, Jun.K debuting as a solo artist, TWICE breaking through the advertising market, and Wonder Girls securing No. 1 on local music charts – these are some of the many factors that might have positively influenced JYP Entertainment for their third quarter report.
