Lee Byung Hun‘s agency, BH Entertainment, revealed that the world-famous actor has been blackmailed by two women, who wanted to release personal information.
Even though it is hard to believe, BH Entertainment stated, “On August 28th Lee Byung Hun received blackmail threatening to release his personal information if he didn’t pay billions of won. Although ridiculous demands and threats are often sent to celebrities, as his agency we thought this was not right and promptly reported this to the authorities.”
The agency revealed that the perpetrators were caught and arrested on September 1st, and that the case is currently under investigation. The actor was blackmailed by two women, ages 21 and 25, and the younger one is said to be a rookie singer who had already debuted. It was later revealed that this woman was GLAM‘s Dahee, who threatened Lee Byung Hun with a recording they took of the actor saying inappropriate words while having drink at his house. In order to keep the video from being published on the internet, they demanded for Lee Byung Hun to pay them 5 billion won (~ 4.9 million USD).
What do you think of this situation? It is hard to believe that people would threaten someone to reveal his or her personal information for money. We hope the case will be solved, and that justice will prevail.
