After a very successful first season with popular group EXO as hosts, MBC have decided to renew their variety program “Showtime” for a second season.
Fans of EXO though won’t be seeing the members on the program unless they happen to appear as guests. Instead B2UTY‘s can get their DVR’s and chesterfields ready to enjoy some long overdue B2STly variety show antics. It was way back in 2010, with the MBC program “Every1’s Idol Maid,” that we last saw all six of the members, Yoon Doojoon, Yang Yoseob, Yong Junhyung, Lee Gikwang, Jang Hyunseung, and Son Dongwoon, appear on a variety program together. “Every1’s Idol Maid” had comedian Shin Bongsun and actress Jeong Ga-eun appearing as B2ST’s maids completing crazy tasks and visiting different places.
MBC made the announcement for the new season, which will maintain the same format of a “question and answer” concept with viewers being able to ask questions for the group to answer in different ways, through their official Facebook page via a photo.
It is also being rumored that the boys were seen filming the first episode for Showtime Burning the BEAST in Seoul‘s Garosu-gil – an area best known for its galleries, restaurants, bars, cafes, and clothing boutiques. The episode is scheduled to air on April 10.
Member Dongwoon even confirmed through his Twitter account the wonderful news and joked around with fans:

B2UTY’s were so excited upon hearing the news that the had the hashtag #BeastShowtime trending worldwide on Twitter in no time.
Though season one of “Showtime” received a lot of attention for being the first program for variety rookies EXO, season two should not fail to disappoint viewers since B2ST are no rookies to variety and should be able to provide many a comedic moment for viewers.
So will you be watching this new season of “Showtime”? Are you excited to see B2ST on variety TV again? Let us know what you think in the comments below and make sure you stay tuned to Officially KMusic for all your updates on B2ST’s activities.
