Oppa Says: ”Catch Me If You Can”, The Perfect Song for Girls Generation

Let me first off tell you a little about myself.  Some of you may recall that I was one half of “Oppa says, Noona Says“.   Sadly my dongsaeng has moved on, but my love for K-Pop has not. I am 43 and will be stopping by every once in a while to give you the fanboy opinion on the state of K-Pop.  Yes 43, that was not a typo.  I have been a K-Pop fan since 2009 and despite loving other groups, I claim only one fandom:  SONE.  I am not just your every day SONE either, I am as hardcore as they come.

So, what does this hardcore SONE fanboy think of their latest video?  It was great.  “Catch Me If You Can” was a great start to the OT8 SNSD.  This was a video that did not rely on glitz or glamour or a ton of aegyo.  It was a video that showcased their vocals and always great choreography and reminded the K-Pop fandom as a whole why they are Queens.

It was also nice to see all the members get screen time.  I myself was happy to see Hyoyeon, in my opinion an under rated member, get more screen time than usual. 

This was a good effort by SM to begin to put some distance of the memories of the OT9.  Girls Generation deserves a fresh start and this was a good way to give it you them.
