Psy to Star in Super Bowl Advertisement

Psy‘s “Gangnam Style” was viewed over a billion times and now even more people will see him again as he stars in a Wonderful Pistachios commercial that will air during the Super Bowl.

USA Today stated, Psy “wears a pistachio- green suit and will display a special way to crack open pistachios” in the advertisement.

“He’s penetrated the cultural consciousness of the United States. We knew the Super Bowl would require something really special to stand out,” Wonderful Pistachios’s vice president of marketing said.

Psy will also be singing his youtube hit with different words in the 30-second ad. The brand will also place 50,000 pistachio displays with Psy’s image in supermarkets across the nation.

“The Super Bowl is way too big for me… I never dreamed of being a singer in America, so I of course never dreamed of being in a Super Bowl ad,” Psy commented.
