Song Joong-Ki Receives ‘Most Influential’ Title!

The Daily Sports compiled a list of the most influential people in entertainment for this past year,  as part of their 47th anniversary. On this extensive list, was none other than ‘Descendants of the Sun‘ megastar Song Joong-Ki! The list had everyone in the entertainment industry listed, from singers to announcers, every aspect of the industry was covered.

According to Inquirer, The Daily Sports asked 50 people from each sector of entertainment – production, film and music – and a total of 150 people took part in the first part of the survey. Netizens voted on a a scale of 1 to 5, and Song Joong-Ki took first place with 318 points!

Other notable mentions from this list are pretty influential in their own right. Taking fourth place was SM Entertainment founder Lee Soo-man. Making the top ten list, taking ninth place, was BIGBANG‘s very own G-Dragon.

There is no denying how much of a star Song Joong-Ki has risen to since his comeback role in ‘Descendants of the Sun‘. It is very exciting to see him being recognized for such an amazing title, along with many other huge names in Korean entertainment. His charm and humor has captured the attention of both men and women alike, transcending boarders in the process. Congratulations Joong-Ki! You deserve it!
