More Then Words For New MFBTY MV

Nothing like a comeback or debut to make any K-Pop fan live on their computer contently refreshing the screen. That is how I and many of my fellow writers here at KMusic found ourselves waiting for this MFBTY music video for “Bang Diggy Bang Bang.”

If you had named any other group (with a few exceptions) and told me that there would be a song that combined elements of Bollywood music and the base of old school hip-hop, then you tell me I am going to love it, I would have probably told you that your crazy and that sounded like the making of a giant train wreck of a song.

But this is MFBTY we are talking about here. This dynamic trio are good at shaking up the music scene, and “Bang Diggy Bang Bang” does just that. The song opens with Tiger JK and Yoon Mi Rae ‘s son Jordan . From there the song just builds layers of sound on top of itself until it becomes this song that is more like brain candy than a song and music video.

This is just an example that I have said along that Yoon Mi Rae, Tiger JK , and Bizzy are superior rappers on their own, but when they come together they become something more. Something that lacks words to describe and do it any justice. If you get a group of Korean music lovers to sit around and talk about rappers a lot of names will get thrown out there, and many of them are not worth the hype. I mean yeah, they can rhyme and string words together, but so can my 3 year old niece. But MFBTY is total deserving of any and all the hype they can get.

Visually the music video is just as exciting. With bucket drumming, color explosions, and well toilet explosion caused but none other then BTS very own Rap Monster. At times I felt as if I had fallen in hole in the space time continuum and landed back in 1999. Then add a pretty epic pillow fight and the cleanest pile of trash ever. While at time the music video itself pushed the limits of sensory overload it is still great and matches the song completely.
