Big Hit Entertainment has disclosed an official statement about BTS‘s Rap Monster being unable to continue performing during the group’s July 23rd concert in Beijing.
On July 24th, the agency posted their statement on Twitter, saying:
“Hello, this is Big Hit Entertainment. BTS is currently visiting Beijing for the ‘2016 BTS LIVE Asia Tour’ and Rap Monster has fallen ill during the concert. He has received an examination from a medical professional on site.
The medical professional said that Rap Monster had a hard time breathing because of the heat and the lack of oxygen which caused him to feel under the weather. Even though they said that there was nothing seriously wrong with his health, we have put the members’ health as the top priority. And thus, Rap Monster will not be returning to the stage and today’s concert was performed by the remaining six members.
We sincerely apologize to the fans who came to the concert today and to all of the fans who were concerned.”
Meanwhile, BTS is presently on their ten stop Asia tour titled “2016 BTS LIVE: The Most Beautiful Moment In Life On Stage: Epilogue.” Their next concert will be in Manila on July 30th, 2016.
Sleep lots and hope you have a speedy recovery, Rap Monster!
