On September 1st, girl group FROMIS_9 released the music video to their latest single, ‘Talk & Talk’. This is packaged the group’s special single album of the same name. It marks their first comeback after the nonet was removed from Off The Record Entertainment, of which they are now managed under Pledis Entertainment. Hence, the music video uploaded under the HYBE LABELS YouTube channel. This hopefully will bring the group ample amounts of exposure to fans managed under the conglomerate, and continue to grow the steady fanbase.
The lyrics of the track describe the heart fluttering emotions felt when meeting someone for the first time. It wittily compares the youthful excitement of longing to talk on the phone all night long to a ‘say anything challenge’ and ‘word relay.’ The poppy instrumental sounds perfect for the group’s youthful bright concept as the catchy phrasing in the chorus gets everyone bopping their head along.

FROMIS_9 ‘TALK & TALK’ MV:
Watching the music video, it begins with a scene of the girls in a zoom call on a plane. Fans would recognize this scene from their previous title track MV, ‘We Go’. Transitioning to this video, we see the members all living in an apartment complex named after their fandom, Flover. They call each other using corded telephones whilst living in a separate units. Enjoying their time at home, we see the members cooking, playing ping pong and exercising amongst other leisurely activities. One by one, the members gather with a blackout on the whole building uniting them together on the top floor to look at the night starry sky.
