You might have heard about the newest trend, where idols have been going around calling their close circle of friends “Lines,” and RyeoWook from Super Junior has joined the idea.
The most popular “line” to date is Super Junior’s KyuHyun, who created the “Kyu Line” when idols were being casted for ‘Fluttering India’. The PD of the show revealed that “The members are all close friends and they voluntarily recommended each other. That’s how they were cast.” In the “Kyu Line” is TVXQ’s ChangMin, SHINee’s MinHo, Infinite’s SungGyu, CNBLUE’s JongHyun, EXO’s Suho, and Super Junior’s RyeoWook.
Now, RyeoWook has announced his own “Ryeo Line” to coincide with his solo album debut. The showcase for ‘The Little Prince’ was held on January 25 at the Hyundai Card Understage in Seoul′s Hannam-dong. During the event, RyeoWook mentioned that he had received a lot of well wishes from his dongsaengs, also known as juniors. he stated, “ZE:A′s Hyung Sik texted me saying ′I miss you.′ And I received messages from EXO′s D.O and VIXX′s N as well.”
He added, “I’m good to my juniors. It’s difficult for seniors to approach [juniors] first. I’m like that too, so I try to take care of the juniors more. And that’s how the “Ryeo Line” was born. The “Ryeo Line” includes EXO′s Chen, Infinite′s L and the BTOB members.“
‘The Little Prince’ was released on January 28 and it holds a total of six tracks. RyeoWook is credited as having a hand on the making of this album, especially having written ‘Poom’ which is the last song on the album.
I think it’s fun to consider what kind of “line” you would have. Mine would probably consist of five to six people including my brother and sister because we are the closest. Who would be in your “line”? Let us know!
