Others get the kiss of a angel but who wants that when you can get a kiss from a very attractive Kumiho, just ask Henry Bloomfield!
The singer-songwriter is back with his new single “Kiss a Kumiho.” In case you didn’t know kumiho is a Korean mystical creature that is a fox with nine tails that has lived for over a thousand years. A kumiho is a shape shifter often known to take the form of an immortal yet bewitching woman who seduces men to their deaths, talk about man-eaters. The concept alone is an interesting way to discuss romance. Instead of writing the typical “she’s a man-eater track”, Henry calls her a mystical creature who is out to wreck havoc on all of man-kind. The music video starts off with an english definition for kumiho much like the one I gave in the beginning. In the music video he shows many sides of him a goofy side, a suave side, a scared side, and basically him always on edge with his sexy but crazy partner. The upbeat track is much like his earlier pieces full of energy and surely will have you dancing the jitterbug. It’s like Michael Bublé meets Robin Thicke‘s “Blurred Lines“, with the underlining beat from Jennifer Lopez‘s “Let’s Get Loud” single which is just easy on on the ears. What makes this track amazing is that it’s bilingual he crosses over from english to Korean perfectly which is very impressive.
You can watch the music video below! but Warning; Prepare to have a hugger on your face!
In all puns, Henry Bloomfield appears to know what does the fox say and does with their bewitching good looks that can literally kill a man. Henry Bloomfield combines a great beat and an amazing sense of humor which really engages you, at first it has you expecting a sexy music video but instead has you grinning and chuckling the entire time. As a performer Henry doesn’t back down to creativity or physical comedy but what really catches your eye, well I mean your ears is that he actually sings in Korean which highlights is dedication as an artist. As odd the music video may be especially to K-pop fans, I highly recommend this video and of course follow Henry Bloomfield’s music, what I enjoy about him other then him being very easy on the eyes and the fact he’s from Boston is how his music is all fun and having a good time with.
Now that you have watched Henry’s music video, you can catch an exclusive look at the frozen frames from the music video. These shots are sure to be of good use as wallpaper or caller ID for any of your contacts. Enjoy and check out his official website here.
