South Korea’s Hanteo chart shows the bulk of sales coming in within the first 2 days of release before dropping off, concluding massive pre-order numbers with sales currently at over 450,000 copies. This acts as the sequel to their 1st full album, ‘The Chaos Chapter: Freeze’ released earlier in May.
The track’s lyrics describe someone who wishes to be a lover towards someone, even if it means being seen as a loser to the rest of the world. In the online showcase of the album’s release, member Soobin stated the reasoning behind including the dollar sign in the song’s title signifies people’s need for money; that although we may loath those greedy for money, that we realise it is a necessity for living.

TXT ‘LO$ER=LO♡ER’ DANCE PRACTICE VIDEO:
The boys show their energetic expressions throughout. Making use of the microphone stands, the performance style is reminiscent of western older generation boy group who would utilize these microphones. They show great synergy amongst the members with powerful choreography to match the dirtier rock beat of the track. Moving away from the mics towards the end, the ‘0x1=Lovesong (I Know I Love You)’ singers increase their intensity and charisma as the camera too moves closer to their choreography.
Comeback promotions started on August 20th with stages on KBS2‘s ‘Music Bank’.
