The largest Lunar New Year Celebration in America is presenting the first ever Lunar Palooza at Fairplex in Greater Los Angeles, a multi-stage night time musical performance headlined by none other than Lydia Paek of YG Entertainment and Quest Crew fame. The outdoor concert stage will also be host to eclectic performers such as Jason Chen, Yultron, Nylon Pink, NomTom and MeeToo, Meeghan Henry and Tha One. The Doraemon themed indoor festival hall will be host to DJ Peter Rocks, DJ Greg Hignight and DJ Del Martin, who will be remixing beats all night long.
Of course what would a party be without a wide selection of food to choose from, including many local and global food selections? Over 180 food vendors will be in attendance at the event, and will feature both global food brands like Olive Garden, and unique flavors like the Ramen Burger and everyone’s favorite: the Chinese lamb skewers. The winners from the third season of Food Network’s Great Food Truck Race, Seoul Sausage will be headlining a group of diverse and notable food trucks including the Lime Truck, Chancho’s Tacos, Street Kitchen, Streets of Thailand, Tokyo Doggie, OC Calbi Taco and Fluff Ice.
This family friendly event welcomes all to come and share in the cultural heritage of the Lunar New Year. Whether you come for the food or the festivities, please be sure to check out the exhibition halls which are hosting more than 1,000 vendor booths.
