FT Island are currently promoting their newest album, “The Mood“, and besides appearing on the music shows they are of course making appearances on radio and TV.
One of their recent stops was the radio program “SimSimTaPa” hosted by Super Junior member Shindong. From the looks of the video FT Island member Seung-hyun got something wrong on air and had to suffer a penalty. Shindong informs him he has to dance to a girl group song and Seung-hyun immediately chooses Crayon Pop. The laughter from the other members commences at this point and as you’ll see, doesn’t stop till the end.
As the music starts and Seung-hyun takes to his feet and does the first dance move, he quickly realizes he’s mixed up the dances and instead of doing Crayon Pop’s “Bar Bar Bar” he’s started with IU’s “Red Shoes“. His reaction upon realizing his mistake is adorable.
Shindong gives him another chance, Seung-hyun prepares diligently, moving the chair, adjusting his clothes and the music starts and he gives the dance another go. Though he was the one to choose Crayon Pop it appears that he doesn’t actually know many of the moves. He repeats the “hadouken” move numerous times and even causes two of the other members to join him. All of this would be enough to send anyone into riots of laughter but it’s the jumping part of the song that will probably follow Seung-hyun around for some time.
I’m not even going to attempt to describe it, besides not even having the words to do the so, the thought of him doing the move sends me into fits of giggles.
