It has previously been reported that actor Lee Byung Hun was blackmailed by two women, one of them being GLAM’s Da Hee. After a successful interrogation, Seoul District Court issued a warrant for Da Hee’s arrest.
Da Hee and her acquaintance, referred to as model A, threatened the world-famous actor Lee Byung Hun with an alleged recording of the actor saying inappropriate words while having drink at his house. In order to keep the video from being published on the internet, they demanded for the actor to pay them 5 billion won (~4.9 million USD). When the two women found out that Lee Byung Hun reported the fact to the police, they tried to hide themselves, and looked for a plane ticket to Europe in order to escape from the country.
BH Entertainment, Lee Byung Hun’s agency, commented on the perpetrators’ actions, stating, “They purchased plane tickets to Europe to run away after committing the crime and planned out their plot in details to make a threat and extort money, so this is clearly a premeditated crime.”
Da Hee’s agency on the other hand shared, “As her agency, we’re regretful that something like this happened. We will closely watch the investigation.”.
