Gong Yoo Is One Handsome “Goblin” In New Stills

The much anticipated new drama by “Descendants of The Sun” writer, Kim Eun Sook, and director, Lee Eung Bok, had it’s first stills released today.

Gong Yoo plays Kim Shin, a goblin in search of a bride. The stills show he’s not the gruesome creature most would think, and is instead shown as a truly handsome human looking one. “Goblin” is about a goblin who needs to find a human bride in order to end his immortality. In his search, he meets an amnesiac grim reaper and a quirky girl.

Filming had begun September 22nd, and the official air date has released. Fans can look forward to a December 2nd premiere date!

According to a source in production:“Gong Yoo became immersed into the scene without any shakiness in his acting, but that doesn’t even need to be said. He was a little apprehensive about his first attempt at ‘fantasy rom-com,’ but he finished his first filming with a smile.”

Starring alongside Gong Yoo as the grim reaper is Lee Dong Wook and from Cheese in the Trap, Kim Go Eun stars as the leading lady. BTOB‘s Yook Sungjae is also joining the cast as a a rich grandson notorious for getting into trouble.
