Jeong Sewoon released his third mini-album ‘Another‘ this week, along with the title track ’20 Something‘.
Going against the grain of the majority of summer releases that feature tropical house, blaring synth and RNB influenced sounds, Sewoon has mixed it up by dropping a mid-tempo, jazz flavoured ballad style song that showcases his vocals. The song was composed and produced by Jung Donghwan of MeloMance.
‘20 Something‘ allows the talented performer to shine with an easy style that he is clearly comfortable with. The song is emotive in its quiet and delicate tone with a soft and serene energy that is impressive in and of itself.
The song is not a typical summer release and has more of a late-Autumn feel to it, however, it’s a refreshing change for the summer months to have such a relaxed song to listen to.
The accompanying music video is visually pleasing and refreshing as it shows Sewoon watching a movie about himself travelling around Europe. The scenery is beautiful and fits perfectly with the theme and sound of the song.
