After leaving SM Entertainment, the former Girls’ Generation member Jessica Jung started to focus completely on her fashion career and her own brand “Blanc & Eclare“. Jessica has already been recognized as a fashion icon and was recently on the cover of the popular Hong Kong magazine “Me“.
During an interview for “Me”, she shared many personal thoughts regarding the current situation of her career and her plans for the future.
When asked, “Since when did you dream of becoming a designer?” Jessica answered, “If I didn’t become a celebrity, I think I would’ve become a fashion designer. I was greatly influenced by my mother since I was young. My mother is very elegant. I really respect her.”
She also talked about her nickname of “Ice Princess” and said that she likes it since it came from the fans, but since it’s not exactly a good thing to be so reserved, she’s been trying to be more talkative.
When asked, “Do you have any plans to form a girl group with your sister Krystal?” Jessica answered, “Anything could happen in the future but I cannot say for certain. Why not, if the timing is right?“. The possibility seems exciting, but we don’t exactly see any signs of Krystal leaving SM and what are the odds of Jessica collaborating with an artist from the company she just left?
As for her actual future plans, Jessica plans on releasing a new line of products for the S/S season, so we can expect to see more fabulous clothes from her growing brand.
