Up and coming artist Henry Bloomfield is ready to make his mark on the Korean music scene and has even given Officially KMusic an exclusive shout out!
Henry studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts since fall 2011 where he went to pursue a professional diploma in Contemporary Writing and Production. He graduated from Oberlin College in May 2011 with a Bachelor’s of Arts (B.A.) in English and wanted to continue on to pursue a music career.
He left Berklee in the spring of 2013 to join Hoodie Allen‘s “Cruisin USA Tour” as the rapper’s keys player. The 40 stop tour started in early March and concluded in mid-June.
Since the fall of 2011, Henry has been active with his own band as a songwriter, arranger, vocalist, and keys player. Recently with fellow band members Sungtaek Oh (drums), Hoonhyung Lee (electric bass), Tom Zmuda (alto sax), and Neal Rosenthal (trumpet), Henry recorded some tracks that was released as an EP in the fall of 2013.
As our previous article on Henry mentioned it’s hard to put a finger on the style of music Henry has chosen to do, it’s an incorporation of rock, blues, funk, and pop and a very unique sound.
Currently, he is living in Seoul but he returned to the States recently and took some time to give Officially KMusic a shout out which you can check out right in the video below.
Check out Henry’s song and music video for “Ms. Mary“, released in May of this year.
Make sure you stay tuned to Officially KMusic for more on Henry Bloomfield as we have another surprise for you our readers, it wasn’t just a shout-out that Henry took time to record for us!
