1theK‘s ‘Dance War‘ is a new idol dance survival show. It aims to bring focus to idol dancers solely based on their abilities. This is why their identities are concealed, and the idol dancers wear masks. Eight idols will battle it out to see who is supposedly the best dancer to emerge from the show. It started on October 2nd, and the results of the first round has already been revealed.
Firstly, participants are divided into two teams. Each episode focuses on a specific artist, and each team will do a dance cover of one of the artist’s hit songs. For example, in the first round, BTS was the chosen artist. The two chosen songs were ‘Fake Love‘ and ‘Fire‘. Viewers then voted on which team they think danced the best. Eventually, ‘Fake Love‘ won. Former JBJ member Kim Donghan and Victon‘s Heochan were eliminated as they garnered the lowest number of votes.

In the second round of ‘Dance War‘, the teams will battle it out using Seventeen‘s hit songs. The remaining six members have been divided into two teams. One of the songs is ‘Clap‘, while the other song is ‘Don’t Wanna Cry‘. Voting is open on social media channels of 1theK, Melon and Daum fan cafe.
Each dancer displays an amazing sense of rhythm and flow. Some dancers even have individual time to showcase their abilities. It will be hard to determine the results of this round.
