Korea Tourism Organization and Semmel Concerts have announced the Finger Heart Festival, which will be taking place in Mannheim, Germany in September.  The festival is a chance to not only see some great artists live, but also to experience all things Korean, from arts and culture to street food and lifestyle.  The festival will take place at the The Mannheim SAP Arena from 6pm on 28th September.

Three acts have been announced which span the very best K-pop has to offer.  With Cosmic Girls, KARD and Monsta X all performing live on stage throughout the evening it’s bound to be an amazing experience.  All coupled with Korean delicacies to make your mouth water.  For those unfamiliar with some of these acts here’s a recap on their activities and hits so far.

Cosmic Girls debuted in February 2016 with the EP ‘Would You Like’ which featured the hit song ‘MoMoMo’.  The album debuted at number 7 on the Gaon Album Chart and the girls have gone from strength to strength since.  Their sound was poppy and catchy and encouraged dancing with it’s upbeat tempo and vibe.  By their fourth album ‘Dream Your Dream’, released two years after debut, the girls had matured their sound to incorporate a more sophisticated style will maintaining the energetic tempo that made them so popular.  Songs like ‘Dreams Come True’ elevated the rap elements allowing for a more edgy sound.  Their latest album ‘For The Summer’, released in June this year, again shows the maturity and constant development of the group with their hit track ‘Boogie Up’, a true summer anthem.

KARD broke the trends in South Korea by being one of the first K-pop groups to include both male and female members.  The four member group in comprised of two male and two female artists allowing for a highly unique sound when compared to their contemporaries.  The group debuted in 2016 with their single ‘Oh NaNa’ which combined the women’s strong and melodic vocals with powerful rapping provided by the male members of the group.  Following their debut the group has gained immense popularity ‘Hola Hola’ and their latest hit ‘Bomb Bomb’ released earlier this year.

The last act on the list barely needs an introduction.  Monsta X are well known throughout the K-pop world and have even appeared on television in countries like England, cementing their place as a growing, global, household name.  Their debut song ‘Trespass’ introduced their strong hip-hop vibe and their amazing singing, rapping and dancing skills.  The group truly cemented their place in K Hip-Hop with the song ‘Dramarama’ which not only illustrated their musical skills but also provided stunning videography and storytelling.  Their latest song ‘Alligator’ starts off with a more pop-based sound than many fans will be used to but soon breaks into their familiar rap beats.

Coupled with this amazing live music showcase attendees will also be able to indulge in foods and other Korean cultural elements of Korea.  It promises to be a truly memorable evening.

Tickets are already on sale at the official festival website and other advance booking sites.
