On June 18th, WEKI MEKI released the title track MV for ‘Oopsy’. The track comes off their 3rd mini album, ‘Hide and Seek’ also released the same day. Check it out below!
WEKI MEKI ‘OOPSY’ MV:
The song describes the feelings of accidentally falling into one-sided love and what to do. The song has is upbeat with bright synths, bringing in a catchy chorus with accompanying choreography.
Looking at the MV, the girls have several scenes which are bright, with an empty white set that expands to the sky, with them wearing light blue and white ensembles. However, there is an equal amount of darker scenes with the group wearing black outfits as the sets change from being empty white sets, to equally minimal but shadowy sets to give a sense of enclosure and darkness. Due to the lack of props within the MV, the existence of any props nicely give depth in the MV as seen with the set of stairs, box of jewelry and decorative wall divider.
The group’s 3rd mini album, ‘Hide and Seek’ contains five tracks including their previously released digital single, ‘Dazzle Dazzle’ earlier this year. The album is available now to listen to on streaming platforms and for purchase.
