Korean citizens, stars, and fans are all still holding out for a miracle for the SEWOL ferry incident, and many have shown their hope and support through a special yellow ribbon campaign.
The trend started on April 22nd, and has been spreading throughout social media like Kakao, SNS, and even Twitter and Facebook. The campaign is the sharing of an image, showing a black ribbon with a yellow background, with a message in Hangul that reads “one small movement for a big miracle.” Some idols have gotten in on spreading the image as well, including 2AM’s Jo Kwon, model Hye Park, Kim Chang Ryul, Bada, Park Kwang Hyun, and the list continues to grow.
