ATEEZ talk ‘Turbulence’ in their touching pre-release MV!

On December 3rd, boy group ATEEZ dropped the music video to their track, ‘Turbulence’. The track is part of their upcoming album, ‘Zero: Fever Epilogue’. When the KQ Entertainment act first released the teaser schedule for this comeback, the teaser released on this day was hidden. Only yesterday fans found out there was going to be a new music video from the group coming out the day after. The octet dropped the MV teaser to this pre-release yesterday, hence shocking fans with the contents that are coming out of this leadup.

So far, the ‘Deja Vu’ singers have dropped various concept photos showing a less flashy and more neutral side to them. If this track is an indication of what the album will sound like, we’re expecting a more vocal and emotional package of tracks, ready to pull listeners into deep thought.

‘Turbulence’ talks of the struggles of life and wanting to be someone to get through the trying times of typical existence. The members shine here with a minimal drum instrumental, allowing the voices to envelop their richness delivering the heartfelt message. Raps here are kept restrained but the raspy tones provide a neediness and plea-like sentiment to the lyrics.

ATEEZ ‘TURBULENCE’ MV:

Watching the music video, we see the members pour their emotions out alone. Isolated within the concrete city, the dark atmosphere further hits home on how life can be lonesome. The sound of hope within the chorus showcases at the end when the members too embrace a similar feeling. Whether that be running into the distance, freely expressing themselves to the world, sunlight shining, or soaring to the skies, they prove happiness can be found in any scenario. Interestingly, there are no choreographed scenes; nor any shots of the whole group coming together but the simple setup matches the vibe well.

ATEEZ‘s new album, ‘Zero: Fever Epilogue’ is scheduled to drop on December 10th, 6PM KST!
