2NE1‘s Dara rocked the web drama world with her lead role in “Dr. Ian“, and is ready for a new role that will be even more exciting.
In “We’ve Broken Up“, Dara will play No Woori, who is always bright even in hard times. Her loveline will be with no one other than WINNER‘s Kang Seung Yoon, who will play Jin Wonyoung, a vocalist of an indie band who works overnight at a part-time job. The couple formed by the two of them has broken up, but still has to live together.
Joining them to complete the main cast are actress Kang Seung Hyun and actor Jang Ki Yong, who are both signed under YG KPLUS, the company formed by the merge between YG Entertainment and K-Plus with the intention of training models to become actors.
The reason behind so many YG artists joining the cast is that CJ E&EM has joined hands with YG for its production. According to them, “Our digital studio and YG K Plus planned the web drama ‘We’ve Broken Up’ together and will produce it together.”
“We’ve Broken Up” is said to be a music-romance drama. It will start in June, so we will have to wait a bit more to see this unexpected but amazing couple on the screens.
