DSP Media has been in a difficult situation these days, given KARA‘s disbandment that seems more likely to happen everyday. As if the end of KARA wasn’t bad enough, A-JAX‘s Sungmin has also announced his departure from the group.
After talking with the agency, Sungmin decided to leave the group in order to become a rapper, and DSP agreed with his decision. However, he still has some time in his contract, so he won’t be leaving the company, and may debut as a rapper later this year, still under DSP, while A-JAX promotes as a five-member boy group.
A-JAX debuted in 2012 with ‘One 4 U‘ and their last comeback was in 2013 with ‘Snake‘ (you might remember the music video for featuring Rainbow‘s Woori). After such a long time without releasing anything, it’s normal for the members to seek other activities.
What do you think of Sungmin’s decision? Do you think he’ll succeed as a rapper? And what will be of A-JAX without him? Let us know your opinion!
