Gary Returns With ‘Lonely Night’

Kang Gary starts his 2016 with a confession, with his new single, ‘Lonely Night.’

He lives his busy days with his work, meeting friends and listening to music – well the same old daily routine, trying to be happy as it is. Still, when he ends his day, drunk, Gary becomes lonely and starts missing the one he loves, and longs for her. Although he doesn’t call her out to be in a relationship, he reveals his need of seeing her at least for a coffee, and his remaining feelings, which explains that he is in love with her anyway.

Slow beats, detailed explanation of a broken yet trying to be fine heart, and Gary’s tempting voice, all together put things on to a romantic mood, as we still starts a new year. Gaeko, who is another favorite of mine, features in this song.

What is more attractive is the female artist who features in the music video. Actress Song Ji Hyo! This makes me think beyond the limits, and believe this song is a real situation of Gary.

Last year on an episode of “Healing Camp” where the matter, ‘the screen love line of Kang Gary and Song Ji Hyo’ on “Running Man,” was questioned, he revealed they are just too comfortable as friends. He also stated, being together on the show for so many years, he has been in control not to have any feeling more than that developed towards Ji Hyo, because he doesn’t want any one of them to quit the show. On the highlight, he further stated about doing a song for Ji Hyo in his coming album. Here we are!

In my opinion, Gary is quite obvious now.  No matter how much he tries to suppress his feelings, I’m sure his heart flutters for Ji Hyo. When I come to think about his statements about them on various shows, it seems to be true. Of course like many of the “Running Man” fans, I ship them too. Should we wait to see if this beautiful couple be coupled up in their real lives too?

However, the audio of the track was released few days ago. Adding more to the fan fantasy, prior to the original music video is released, a cute video made of ‘Gary + Ji Hyo’ moments from “Running Man” was released on You Tube. You can watch it below.
