At the request of both the late EunB and RiSe‘s families, the final performance of Ladies’ Code has been aired on national television.
The performance, which took place hours before the accident that claimed the lives of both EunB and RiSe, took place on September 2nd at a pre-recording of KBS’ Open Concert in Daegu. KBS announced earlier this week that they would air the performance of “Kiss Kiss”, stating they would air the clip “as beautifully as possible“, in consultation with both EunB and RiSe’s families and Polaris Entertainment.
Before the performance aired, a message was placed in front of the clip:
“Next is the last performance. On September 3rd, a morning traffic accident occurred. From the precious colleagues, leaving two gone. The live performance of Ladies’ Code. We will remember how beautiful they were chasing their dreams.”
As embedding of the video is currently disabled, here is the link to watch it on YouTube. It truly is a bittersweet performance – we can clearly see that the girls are truly enjoying performing for their fans and having fun.
In the face of tragedy, it is so important to keep remembering these girls not only as idols lost to a terrible accident, but as shining, happy human beings. The girls of Ladies’ Code were doing what they loved just before such a sad, unpredictable event changed their lives.
We hope that fans keep remembering Ladies’ Code as the bubbly quintet seen in this last performance.
