From a blog aimed to reach family members in another country, to a famous, all rounded blog that hosts the perspectives of a couple in all areas of Korean culture, including K-Pop. Yes that’s right, we’re talking about none other than Eat Your Kimchi!
Simon and Martina, Soo Zee, Leigh, even Spudgy and Meemers have all become household names to those that love Korean culture and music. These names represent the Eat Your Kimchi crew based in South Korea. The blog team, run by the Canadian couple Simon and Martina, reaches out to both Korean and international fans of Korean pop music. They also help anyone else who just wants to know more about Korea by giving tips for others to decide how and if to settle there.
Simon, Martina and Soo Zee have recently wrapped up their mini tour in Australia, after being invited by SQ Entertainment to attend Melbourne’s very first major Korean cultural festival in the city, The 2013 Kwave Festival. The couple stopped by Sydney first to hold a Meet & Greet session.
They also managed to hold a Meet & Greet session for Melbourne Nasties during the festival, following their take to stage to address the crowd about their experciences in Korea, and in Australia thus far.
Officially Kmusic representatives in Melbourne were also lucky to catch up with the couple the next day to talk about the festival and answer some questions sent in by fans.
