SHINee And I.O.I To Join #KCON16LA Line-Up And More Guests to Appear at #KCON16NY

It has been announced that the line-up for KCON 2016 Presented by Toyota will be joined by contemporary idol group SHINee and I.O.I. Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho, and Taemin recently celebrated their 8th debut anniversary. Their latest song “Your number” gathered more than six million views on YouTube. I.O.I, abbreviation for Ideal Of Idol, is an eleven-member girl group formed through Korean variety show “Produce 101”. They debuted in May this year with an album “Crysalis”. The main song from this album “Dream girls” has almost eight million views.

This event will take place at Staples Center and Los Angeles Convention Center, July 29-31st. The tickets will go on sale on June 3rd at 1PM EST for Combo/Platinum tickets and on June 6th at 1PM EST for Single tickets. Prices will start at $50 for a single ticket and range to $800 for a platinum ticket, which includes access to all concerts and convention as well as a backstage tour.

In addition, a new announcement was made for KCON 2016 New York. Special guests Yim Si Wan and Park Bo Young will attend this event. Yim Si Wan, more known by his stage name Siwan, is an actor, singer and TV host. He appeared in many Korean dramas, including “Moon Embracing the Sun” and “Triangle”, winning “Best New Actor” in 2014. Park Bo Young is an actress who debuted in 2006 with “Secret Campus”. She is best known for her role in the movie “A Werewolf Boy” and she has won several awards, the most for “Scandal Makers” in which she also received the “Best New Actress” award.

KCON in New York will take place at Prudential Center on June 24-25th. The tickets are already on sale.
