Wedding Bells Won’t Ring Anytime Soon For Girls’ Generation’s Jessica

Recently, a lot of fans were worried that Jessica from Girls’ Generation could be on the group’s growing list of dating scandals, not to mention the ones that have been looming over SM Entertainment since 2014 began. Rumors have been flying around that she and Korean American CEO Tyler Kwon will be saying I do soon. Well fanboys (and maybe some fangirls as well), you don’t have to worry anymore. Tyler clarified that these engagement rumors are false.

The man in charge of Coridel Group posted a picture of rings to his weibo account, immediately earning attention from the media and fans alike who started speculating that he and Jessica were getting married. The two have been caught up in dating rumors since they were spotted together on a few occasions in the past. SM confirmed back in March that they were not a couple.

The original post stated “It was an honor being your best man…”. Even as straightforward as this message was, people still questioned the picture and deemed the rings were not from his friend’s wedding, but were for Tyler himself.

After receiving the speculated comments, Tyler took to social media once again with a screenshot of the original post saying, “Hmm, can someone please explain to me what part of “best man” wasn’t clear? Also, how did my friend’s rings become my rings?”

SONEs, you can take a breather for now. I do have to say, those rings are quite beautiful and since a wedding did take place, congratulations to Tyler’s friend and his new bride.
