2PM‘s Junho has finally released his first Korean solo album ‘Canvas‘.
The double title tracks from ‘Canvas‘ are ‘ Canvas’ and ‘Instant Love’, and the music videos for both tracks have been released.
The track ‘Canvas‘ is a mid-tempo ballad that uses Junho‘s soothing and smooth vocals as a focal point. The lyrics talk about how a dull life is like a blank canvas that can be transformed with colour after falling in love. The accompanying music video uses mainly outdoor locations to reflect the lyrics. It looks like it’s been set somewhere like Arizona or Nevada which is a blank canvas where the beautiful sunsets transform the surroundings into a colourful canvas.
Junho wrote the lyrics and composed the track with Hong Ji Sang.

The second MV released is for ‘Instant Love’. The song was originally released in Japan in 2016. This version features TWICE‘s Sana. This track has a definite RnB style mixed with electronic vibes.
The clip depicts the troubled relationship by using a range of filters and shooting slightly out of focus. The camera ‘shakes’ through most of the clip adding to the uncomfortable or tormented feeling portrayed by the lyrics.
