On May 9, BTS dropped yet another Japanese music video for their hit song, ‘Blood, Sweat and Tears.’
Aesthetically, the new video includes similar visual elements to those in the original version. Museum scenes, wing silhouettes, flashes of neon and the apple from the first video made reappearances. However, the Japanese video contains more intense and dramatic moments.
For example, one scene showed violence between V and Jin. In another, Jungkook was throwing up inside a small, dingy bathroom before a frantic Suga attempts to help him out. Also, a mysterious ending scene with Rap Monster has fans puzzled about the relationship between all of the videos again. As always, the members’ acting skills are proven to be quite impressive in yet another satisfying video.
