If you haven’t already heard, Eric Nam will be touring Australia in March! Check out this article to get to know all of his releases throughout his career. There will probably be some that you already know and maybe some that you haven’t, so let’s start!
Eric made his official debut in 2013 with his debut album and has released over 20 albums including single and digital albums, OSTs and collaborations. While we won’t go through every single one of Eric‘s (wonderful) songs, we will list all his albums and link some of (in my opinion) noteworthy songs!
2013
‘Cloud 9‘
This was Eric‘s debut album and consists of his debut title track ‘Heaven’s Door‘. The music video for this song is extremely soft and pretty with the white snow acting as a beautiful background! Eric‘s bright and cheerful voice here will definitely put you in a good mood!
2014
‘Ooh Ooh‘
‘Ooh Ooh‘ is the title of Eric‘s single featuring former INFINITE member Hoya. The song is groovy and easy to listen to. It is more upbeat than Eric‘s debut track, giving fans an idea of the different styles the talented singer can do. Also, on a side note Eric has gotten teased countless times on ASC for his little dance moves in ‘Ooh Ooh‘.
‘Melt My Heart’
A cute winter song that warms and melts your heart at the same time!
2015
In 2015 Eric started releasing more singles and collaborations. Some of them include single release ‘I’m OK‘ and ‘I Just Wanna‘ with f(x)‘s Amber! One of my personal favourites is ‘DREAM‘ featuring 15&‘s Jimin! The song itself is so beautiful and the sand art in the music video just makes everything even better!
‘DREAM’ with 15&’s Park Jimin
2016
Eric started releasing much more music and people were starting to really become addicted to him! In 2016 he released a lot more collaborations with famous names and released a mini album.
‘Interview’
‘Interview’ is the name of Eric‘s mini album. It consists of five tracks with the title track being ‘Good For You‘. There is also an International version of ‘Good For You‘ sang in English. All songs in this album are absolutely fantastic and are super calming to listen to!
Eric also released several collaborations including ‘Spring Love‘ with Red Velvet‘s Wendy and ‘Into You‘ with KOLAJ. Check some of my favourites below!
Cute and super dorky ‘Can’t Help Myself’ featuring Loco
‘Cave Me In’ with Gallant and Tablo
2017
The songs that Eric released in 2017 include ‘Body‘ with Timbaland a super groovy song, ‘Your BGM Vol. 1‘ that consists of ‘Perhaps Love‘ with solo artist CHEEZE, ‘You, Who?‘ with Somi and ‘Idea of You ‘with Arty.
‘Hold Me’
2018
‘Honestly’
Eric released another album ‘Honestly‘ in 2018. Again, all songs showcase Eric‘s incredibly soothing voice. Based off the name of the album, the tracks on it all convey a raw emotion that is incredibly bittersweet.
‘Miss You’
Eric has also consistently lent his voice to drama and movie OSTs throughout his career. You may have heard his voice whilst watching your favourite K-Dramas! Some include ‘That Night‘ in drama ‘Encounter’, ‘Love Yourself‘ for ‘It’s Okay To Be Sensitive 2′ and ‘Shower‘ in ‘Uncontrollably Fond’. Eric has also contributed to ‘Hotel Transylvania 3′! Check out a short snippet of it below!
These are only some amongst many!
You’ll be sure to listen to many of these at Eric‘s concert and be awestruck by his lovely voice!
