Super Junior are ready to launch ‘Super TV‘ and they recently held a press conference to tell us all about it.
‘Super TV‘ will begin airing on XtvN on January 26 and promises to give fans a ‘fly on the wall’ glimpse at life inside Super Junior.
Leeteuk, Shindong, Kim Heechul, Yesung, Eunhyuk and Donghae answered questions about the format and content of the show, and even gave some clues as to the inspiration for the show.
The members came up with their own ideas and concepts for ‘Super TV‘, including reality, mukbang, quizzes, talk, and generally goofing off.

Leeteuk commented, “I thought ‘would it become like an idol version of ‘Infinity Challenge‘?’ But it’s different.”
As an experienced idol group, the members are considered veterans in terms of appearances on variety programs. Leeteuk also added, “I can say that it’ll be fun.”
On the other hand, Donghae who hasn’t done a lot of variety programs commented, “I’m still not confident when it comes to variety. I hope to expand my variety skills through ‘Super TV.'”
Heechul added, “Honestly speaking, I am very worried. We started ‘SJ Returns—Super Junior Real Comeback Story’ to promote the album, but because it did better than our expectations, we extended it, which became ‘Super TV.’

The group even made promises on what would happen if ‘Super TV‘ surpasses five percent in viewership ratings, Eunhyuk promised to show Ryeowook after he gets discharged from the military on the show. Donghae said he would continue to appear on variety programs, while Shindong promised he would start a diet.
‘Super TV‘ begins airing on XtvN on January 26 at 11pm KST.
