EXID will be making their Japanese debut on August 22nd.
They will release a Japanese album, and their title track will be a Japanese version of ‘Up & Down‘. They posted a teaser video for the track on their official EXID Japan Twitter account. The group has already achieved massive success with the Korean version of ‘Up & Down‘ worldwide, with the MV garnering more than 84 million views.
EXID has also announced the arrival of their official Japanese fan club, and they have opened an official Japanese website, which you can access here. The announcements were made by Banana Culture Entertainment back in May.

The teaser video introduces the members of the group, and highlights moments from some of their iconic music videos like ‘Ah Yeah‘ and ‘Hot Pink‘. The video focuses on the point choreography of their past title tracks. A snippet of the Japanese version of ‘Up & Down‘ plays in the background of the teaser.
Member Solji will be making her comeback to the group as part of their Japanese debut. She had been absent from activities due to health issues since the end of 2017. Solji surprised fans with her voice at EXID‘s Japanese debut showcase in Tokyo on June 27th. The group also held a press conference to promote their upcoming album.
After the release of ‘Up & Down‘ in Japan, the group will be holding performances in Tokyo and Osaka.
