On March 12th, B.O.Y (B Of You) released the MV teaser for their upcoming title track, ‘Miss You’. This comes off the duo’s 2nd mini album, ‘Phase Two: We’. Check the teaser out down below!
B.O.Y ‘MISS YOU’ MV TEASER:
The teaser shows a recurring theme of yarn balls around the set, representing the overall soft feel of the video. We also see snippets of the choreography for the track. Supported with backup dancers, the routine looks to be somewhat melancholy but powerful, accurately depicting the title of the track. Throughout the teaser, it looks like the boys are looking for each other with one running into the distance whilst the other searches for something with a torchlight. The teaser ends with both members standing back to back wearing pastel suits, in a yarn filled room.
In the background of the whole video, a teaser of the song plays. Starting with a piano melody, it progresses into calm synth on top of the group’s vocals. Vocally, their unique tones are emotional and call out to their longing of someone, telling them they miss their company.
The group have previously released concept photos and a highlight medley ahead of their comeback. The upcoming album contains five tracks with a combination of ballads and pop. It marks a continuation from the duo’s previous comeback album, ‘Phase One: You’. Their company, The Music Works, also recently switched their partnership for the firm’s music video releases to Stone Music Entertainment. Moving from Genie Music, it is hoped that more K-Pop listeners will discover and become fans of the duo.
B.O.Y‘s 2nd mini album, ‘Phase Two: We’, featuring the title track ‘Miss You’, will be released on September 15th, 6PM KST!
