The debut of new boy group WEi is imminent! On October 4th, the sextet released the 2nd MV teaser to their debut title track, ‘Twilight’. Check it out down below!
WEI ‘TWILIGHT’ 2ND MV TEASER:
The group display their cool demeanor in performing and teasing the choreography of the track. Looking refreshing in head to toe white, the first set shows them dancing on a rooftop behind a beautiful sunset. The spaciousness of the area is uplifted by the light guitar melody that plays during this section. We quickly gain the view of another set; this time the boys are in maroon velvet suits paired with black pants and shoes. The set although mostly white features green stripes of light and black asymmetrical walls to create a dynamic effect. The music also changes to include the group’s vocals as we hear the chorus that features a whistling motif throughout.
Looking at the choreography, it contrasts the lightness of the track leaning towards being powerful in the chorus. However there are flowing moments where the group combine with backup dancers to create nice formations that collectively blend nicely with the tune.
The upcoming boy group’s six members have all had previous exposure on either survival programs and in project groups. The members include Daehyeon (RAINZ member), Donghan (JBJ member), Yongha (1THE9 member), Yohan (X1 member), Seokhwa (appeared on Mnet‘s idol survival show ‘Produce X 101’ and YG Entertainment‘s ‘YG Treasure Box’) and Junseo (1THE9 member). All the tracks on their previously released track list for their 1st mini album also have writing credits from every member.
WEi‘s 1st mini album ‘Identity: First Sight’ along with their debut title track and MV for ‘Twilight’ will be released on October 5th, 6PM KST!
