The album preview of Wanna One’s ′0+1=1 (I PROMISE YOU)′ is here!

Wanna One‘s much anticipated comeback with their second mini album ‘0+1=1 (I PROMISE YOU)’ is looming just around the corner. And to soothe to minds of fans who are restlessly waiting, Wanna One has revealed a preview of the album.

Wanna One is an incredibly strong group in terms of vocals and rap. Each member has his own color and not two members’ tones and techniques match. So, even two parts with the same melody and lyrics will sound different coming from different member. Despite—or possibly due to—their distinct traits, the members can complement and back one another up when necessary and this makes for great synergy. Judging from the snippets, these strengths of Wanna One have been utilized to maximum effect in their new album.

The album contains seven songs in total. The melodies of the songs are  quite addicting and it seems that this album alone would be enough to prove Wanna One‘s capability of handling different genres and emotions with style.

The seventh track on the album is a bonus track. It is the ‘Confession‘ version of the second track ‘I.P.U.‘ From the album preview, it seems as though the ‘Confession‘ version will be more serene and more emotional rendition of the original, which was of the electro-pop genre.

The title track ‘Boomerang‘ is what most fans are anticipating the most. The snippet given in the preview fades off possibly just before reaching the hook. ‘Boomerang‘, like ‘I.P.U.’, contains prominent and dramatic drum beats but seems to have more synthesizer detailing. We will know for sure once the album comes out.
