On October 9th, boy group PENTAGON unveiled their first MV teaser for their upcoming title track, ‘Daisy’. The song is included their soon to be released 10th mini album, ‘WE:TH’. Check out the teaser down below!
PENTAGON ‘DAISY’ MV TEASER 1:
In the short 19 second clip, we see the members all lying down in sadness. The cinematography for each set is heartfelt as is the beauty of each location. These include a room solely lit by candles generating a yellow hue and the dark rainy outdoors on the gravel floor with an upside down car burning in the background. There is also a black and white filtered set with a brick textured ground, a red dining area with candles lit and food smeared and messed on the table, an underwater like set with the ripples of the water above, a burning forest, and finally a plain grey set where light starts streaming in to give a sign of change. The teaser finishes with an English statement.
“Love burns everything, even myself, and fades away like a smoke when I look back. Left here with pain and resentment, all I can do is muttering the lie that I hope for your tragedy.”
A daisy slowly opens up before the screens fades to black. The instrumental playing in the background starts off with a lonely piano before a smooth rolling synth comes in to lead up to a halt. We get a short teaser for the vocals to the track bringing us to the end.
From many of photos the group has already released regarding this comeback, it seems they will continue to show their musical diversity. This overall more lighter emotional sound is a stark contrast to their previous darker sexier title track, ‘Dr. BeBe’ released in February this year.
PENTAGON‘s 10th mini album, ‘WE:TH’ featuring the title track ‘Daisy’ will be released on October 12th, 6PM KST!
