On September 24th, WJSN‘s 1st sub-unit WJSN CHOCOME released the track list to their debut single album, ‘Hmph!’. Following that, over the course between September 25th to 27th, they released teaser images to display their concept. Check the track list and teasers out below!
WJSN CHOCOME ‘HMPH!’ TRACK LIST + TEASER IMAGES:
The single album’s track listing shows their debut piece will contain two tracks. These include the title track ‘Hmph!’ and a remake of first generation girl group Baby V.O.X‘s 1998 single ‘Ya Ya Ya’. Surrounding the track list is a variety of sweet treats such as candies and cupcakes. This is all set behind a purple and pink backdrop, therefore making up for a cuter concept.
Looking at the teaser pictures, the sub-unit looks to show a distinct style away from the main group of WJSN. There are huge pops of colour over all of them. The first two images have the members wearing neon bright dresses complete with extravagant hair bows in a rainbow striped set. The second set of images then moves the girls to a pastel candy ball pit with ice cream and donuts. Their dresses reflect the sweet atmosphere being baby pink and featuring lollipops on their design. Finally in the third batch of photos, the members sit on a white and green retro tiled floor in equally retro inspired clothing. There is a huge chocolate wrapped in the middle of the room, hence matching with the continuing theme of the pictures. Throughout all the images, they make surprised and cute expressions to the camera, adding to the sweetness of their concept.
This first sub-unit from WJSN consists of members Soobin, Luda, Yeoreum and Dayoung. Fans are intrigued and excited for the group’s 1st unit debut and their unique concept that will distinguish them from the group’s traditional sound.
WJSN CHOCOME‘s debut single album ‘Hmph!’ will be released on October 7th, 6PM KST!
